I don't remember this rate of shooting happening when i was commuting on the train in the 80's and reading the Evening Standard.

Most murders were domestic back then.

Throughout the lockdown the London shooting rate has been particularly high - but press coverage has been fairly low because of BLM hysterics and Covid headlines.

Things like doorstep murder hits don't happen too often but two have happened in the last few weeks. There are a lot of guns in London at the moment.

I have heard gunshots yes. I've seen murder scenes too. A black man bludgeoned his girlfriend to death with a brick just down from where I was living at the time. He lured her from a chicken shop to an alley to do it. Also a few streets away a black man stabbed his (white) wife and young kids. Loads of black kids have stabbed or shot each other within walking distance of where I now live.
