Their interview remasters have already been shared by myself here, but I really like the work done on some of these gigs and thought they were worth sharing. The sound has been much improved in some cases. I have simply collated their blog posts in to one list below. They have some support bands from Smiths gigs on their site too. The notes have been included as requested by the OP. The links have all been checked and are working. Some gigs have the original (prior to remaster) linked to also - which is a nice touch. I hope people enjoy the gigs and appreciate the effort that's gone in to 'remastering' them. Many thanks to Dream Remaster. Great work. Regards, FWD. Remaster Notes:- This is an excellent recording. Wish I knew taper details so I could thank them. There are virtually no talkers around the tapers position. The crowd sound very quiet, guess they were waiting for the headliners. Because of this the recording is really nice. This needed very little doing to it. Just gave it some bottom end mainly & some other tweaks, a re-track and job done. I chose to do some fades while re-tracking, also some minor editing, think it makes for a better listen. Turned out really well. You will NOT be disappointed with this show. Remaster Notes:- Had this on my drive since ages ago & finally finished it, so here it is, hope you enjoy. This is a great recording. Don't know taper details sadly. This came from Soundsville Steve via smiths torrents, both deserve a huge thanks for sharing. No lineage given. This is a bit special: The last time "The Hand That Rocks The Cradle" was played live. A fumbled version of "Reel Around The Fountain" was performed, with a great save of the day by Moz to rescue it by the end. And more besides, read below notes from the excellent PJLM. This took some restoration & remastering very well. It was badly balanced with most of the sound in the left channel. Added eq as was needed. Retracked the show while I was working on it. The one big annoying thing with this is the *!!** talkers in the right channel. They chip in with various chat, earth shattering stuff like "I'm going to the bar". "I'll meet you hear, I'm going for a drink". They appear and disappear at will. There is some chatter lowish in the recording on both channels. Shame it's there, but for the chat this would be 10/10. This really is a must if you are into the band. So I started transferring this tape & wow, it sounds great! Then I compared it with the only other file that I know of by Soundsville. This new tape sounds much better (I.M.O.) but I am lost as to the source. It sounds like Paul's soundsville tape only better. The tinny treble is gone on this version. So after discussing it with R.C. we present it here for your comments. Included in the torrent are 2 low rate mp3 for you to download first & see what you think. You can then download or not as you want. This transfer is untouched all I did was cut it into separate tracks. Share freely, do NOT sell, only change to mp3 for your listening please. Enjoy. They later remastered it: Here is the remastered version for this gig, sourced from RC's tape. Many thanks to him for his many shares, what a gent! This sounds glorious, it turned out excellent. It ran slightly fast so it has been slowed down by 3%. The tape flip between 16 & 17 doesn't cause the loss of any music. Was a joy to remaster, took to it like a duck to water (as the saying goes). The only negative is that there is some tape hiss still present. Removed as much as I dared, the music more than makes up for it being there. Cannot go wrong with this, download & enjoy friends. Then just some EQ bringing up the bottom end & smoothing the top to make it less harsh. To finish I slowed it down a little to get it the right speed & retracked it. Archives, many thanks to him. This isn't the usual circulated version missing the last song (Hand In Glove) at the end. So is the complete gig. Sounds better than the one in circulation (I.M.O.). Remaster:- Managed to tame some of the tape hiss present, still some but removed as much as I dare. Needed quite a bit of restoration then light remastering touches. Sounds really nice, hope you enjoy often. Download original: HERE. Download Dream Remaster: HERE.

The Smiths - National Ballroom, Kilburn, London, 23rd October 1986 [RC Version] Source Audience Set List:- 01 - Intro 02 - The Queen Is Dead 03 - Panic 04 - I Want The One I Can't Have 05 - Vicar In A Tutu 06 - There Is A Light That Never Goes Out 07 - Ask 08 - [Marie's The Name] His Latest Flame / Rusholme Ruffians 09 - Frankly, Mr. Shankly 10 - The Boy With The Thorn In His Side 11 - What She Said [Rubber Ring Intro / Outro] 12 - Is It Really So Strange? 13 - Never Had No One Ever 14 - Cemetry Gates 15 - London 16 - Meat Is Murder 17 - I Know It's Over 18 - The Draize Train 19 - How Soon Is Now? 20 - Still Ill 21 - Bigmouth Strikes Again Lineage:- R.C. Big thanks as always to him for his shares. This is as far as I can tell probably the "DJ AUD Version" of this gig, but better quality than the one available (audience) recording in circulation to my knowledge. Sounds more focused/open & dynamic to me. Would be interested to hear what others think, good or bad. No remaster on this one. As always a HUGE thank you to him for his generous shares. Would be interested with what others think of this. Is is better quality than the one(s) that are circulated I think. Still loads of ******* talkers chatting away!! Any comments (good/bad) please come forward with them! Remaster Notes:- Took some restoration well. Did what I could with the mastering, sounds okay. Still suffers from level issues at times in some places. Biggest issue still the ******** talkers!! "The lyrics are new, but the music is old". If you have this already this version is a step up on it, not a massive improvement to be fair, but a step in the right direction. It was probably a 5/10 now 6.5/10. Enjoy... Needed a fair amount of restoration to it before remastering. There was some distortion issues, fixed most. Last 3 songs still suffer sadly, by HD it improves but be prepared! Applied some light EQ, mainly in the bottom end, with a slight touch to the highs. There are a few minor dropouts here & there but it doesn't spoil the songs. Nice versions of Pretty Girls Make Graves & Back To The Old House. It ran way too fast, so it was slowed down by 3.5%. Based my speed corrections on the official "Rank" versions. Had very little bass so corrected that & removed some digital clicks. Was very harsh in the top end, so it was turned down as much as possible. I retracked the whole show which has helped to make it a better listen. Not to much crowd noise so that helps, the odd scream now and again. This is a whole lot better than the original. Hope you enjoy it. C. An "I Don't Sleep, I Dream" Presentation, Summer 2017. Do NOT sell this recording. Freely given to you, so don't charge others. Do NOT sell it on Ebay or Ioffer or any other place. Buy the records/CD's/Go to shows if there are any. Support the artist anyway you can. Failure to comply will result in the karma police visiting. Want to share this?
