The Smiths last ever tv appearance is now up on You tube, singing 'Ask'. Have been trying to see this for years .

The band seem to be enjoying themselves especially Johnny, no sign of any disharmony at all . Shame it had to end only months later

Only this wasn't the bands last ever TV appearance........
This gig (in which they mimed) was in February 87.
The band played live for the last time on Channel 4's The Tube singing 'Sheila Take A Bow' / 'Shoplifters....' on 10th April 87

They then mimed to 'Sheila....' on Top of The Pops on 23rd April.
