Cheers Unk. It was a beautiful little film wasn't it?
If yer a Corrie fan, Do Not Miss 'The Road To Coronation Street' on BBC4 Thursday night. I saw it three weeks back, and it's a stunner
I'm trying to recognise anything left - the War Memorial is still there on the Cresent, the Irwell is thankfully less polluted, still a market (no idea if it is the same one), many of those churches are long gone along with the slums that were still there in 1960, and most of those new tower blocks have been knocked down.
