This Charming Man 12" - mystery signature?

Over the weekend, my daughter picked up a copy of "This Charming Man" 12" in a record shop, but we're not sure whose signature (initials?) adorns both sides of the sleeve. I think it may be Geoff Travis, but we can't find anything else autographed by him online.

We would be grateful if any sharp-eyed fell Smiths fans could chime in to solve this mystery.

Highly possible - and that's what another person at the store apparently said. I have a number of DJ copies and they are all quite well-worn and adorned with stamps and stickers. This particular vinyl is seemingly unplayed and from the condition of the signature and the lack of LP 'rub' on the jacket, it appears to have been kept in its bag. Maybe a DJ who transferred the song to cassette and stored the 'originals'?
