BUT WHO WILL GUARD US FROM THE GUARDIAN?
No one, it seems.

It is worth noting that their chief antagonist in this Hate Campaign is someone I took to court some years ago for writing lies about me. He lost his court battle then, and now he's seeking his personal revenge by using The Guardian, who have been harassing everyone and anyone connected with my music imploring them to say something terrible about me for print. This is the open face of Soviet Britain.
Please do not buy this wretched hate-paper, whose every 2019 utterance echoes the late Mary Whitehouse.
It is the voice of all that is wrong and sad about modern Britain."

I'm glad when Morrissey defends himself, because by defending himself he defends another victims of the same machinery of manipulation. Press is very important for democracies, by transforming it in a tool of harrassment and extorsion, ruining people's lives because they have different ideas, that's killing democracy. Not that democracy is a value we can say it's widely supported around the world just now, on the contrary. Sadly, it's one of those things you value when you lose it.

That is one hell of an achievement! When the album chart is announced later, I wonder if the music websites will publish articles mentioning that? They f***ing should! Especially as this past week or so, he's had everything thrown at him!

According to the UK iTunes chart, it went straight to #4 on the 24/5/2019 and as at yesterday, it was #41.

Have a look on iTunes / Genres / Alternative and you'll see that California Son is currently at number 12. Number 2 on Amazon's Alternative Indie chart.
