What are you watching on hulu, Netflix, etc?

The Chameleon

I'm watching Missing 411. I've been reading about the cases and it's really interesting. All the ones in the documentary are about little kids and it doesn't seem quite as paranormal or conspiratorial as other cases I have read about. I am open to strange explanations but I look to the mundane first. The little 2 year old that the documentary spends a long time on is a very sad case.

I don't have Netflix or anything like that, but I watch Dateline, 48 Hours, 20/20 etc. and read books about real murders.

Yes dear, we know. I don't watch television. But you should get a month of HULU free and see if you like it. It used to be kind of weak but I watch it a lot more than I watch Netflix now and it's cheap.

I just finished an ebook on Kindle Unlimited about women who killed their significant others. Just mind boggling.

I used to read about true crime. I thought Son of Sam and the Zodiac were interesting because they sent notes to the police. I have read several books about Manson too. I was a big fan of the Batman tv show when I was a kid so sending notes to the police and having a kind of showbiz persona was interesting to me. But maybe it's because the stories got more graphic or something but when I read about sick murderers now it is just disturbing. And I listened to this interview with Ted Bundy where he was telling this guy where the bodies were. He really just wanted attention but he was telling these long stories about how he did it. It made me feel like the cops should have just murdered him when they had the chance. Some of these people don't deserve to have a trial.

But Missing 411 is about hundreds of people that have vanished without a trace in US National Forests and it goes back decades. It's being presented now as a conspiracy or somehow related to paranormal forces. It's not really true crime though some of it probably is. And a lot of times the simplest explanation is that the person was abducted by some weirdo or the parents are covering a crime by saying they lost the child in the woods.

One thing Bundy said that is true is that pornography encourages hatred of females. I like some pornography, the kind that doesn't degrade or violate, but most of it involving females is mainly about degradation.

He said that because he was trying to avoid the death penalty. He tried to blame pornography because he wanted it to be a defense. That was once he'd been convicted of at least one of the murders. There were several separate trials and some were happening at the same time. He also pretended once that he was very concerned about all the victims that would continue to be murdered because of the fact that he was innocent.
I used to have this book. It's pretty good because it's about the trial more than about the gory details. But it goes into his personality and he was an asshole in case that isn't obvious.

Yeah, he was saying to pick his brain instead of kill him, but I have to agree with him about most porn.

The problem is you can say porn is dangerous or creates attitudes in the viewers but if you're going to attach your opinions to those of Ted Bundy when he was just desperately trying to stay alive it doesn't help your case. You can agree with the words but you can't agree with him because he was lying.
The book about Gary Gilmore by Norman Mailer is really good. I think he was trying to outdo Truman Capote's In Cold Blood. Both of those are good.

I watch porn. I go to chaturbate.com and tip a guy who gets himself off. But most porn is demeaning to women. Not all. I've seen some I liked. Very little though. I liked it because no one was getting degraded. Everyone was obviously enjoying themself. I forget the name of the video. I think it was called f***ING HOT on red redtube.

I found it. They changed the name of it. The female's name is Holly Michaels. I don't know what the male's name is.

But what do I know. Maybe the actors are miserable? I've been known to see what I want to.

Hey, I just watched it, and they took the best part of the video out! Wow

The text of the book is tiny. I don't know if I can read it. I'll try.

Ya, I don't want to install Adobe onto my tablet, so the only way I can read it is in this miniscule print.

It's well written.

If your tablet has chrome or firefox you can read pdf's on them and you can enlarge the text. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/pdf-viewer/oemmndcbldboiebfnladdacbdfmadadm?hl=en

Ah, I'll just read the tiny words until I throw my hands up.

I have chrome, but the book link opens into duckduckgo. I'll see if I can find a way...
