I stopped posting regularly Andy because there was someone else with a similar name and it might have confused people. Also, I'm not always allowed on the computer because others want to use it.

I don't know who took the picture; There was another Duncan posting here but I think he's stopped now, but there are some Scottish people posting here - Duncan is a Scottish name.
Here's a picture of a White Dice meeting. Do you think that it is interesting that Andy Rourke's hair is now more like it was then, now, than it was when he was in the Smiths, which was between then and now? Or do you not think this thought is interesting?

Yes Andy, I think you are right about what was fashionable in the 1970s, 1980s and the 1990s up to now. I notice that when you see pictures of old football (from the seventies), the players often have longer hair than they do now. So I think you have correctly provided the explanation.
I think that Andy Rourke is fashionable about 85% of the time and not fashionable for 15% (both add up to 100%), but I am not an expert.
Yes the picture is from Johnny Rogan's "Morrissey and Marr: The Severe Dalliance". Here is another picture from the book - Morrissey when he was thirteen (with long hair!). Unfortunately there are no pictures of Andy Rourke when he was thirteen in the book, so we do not know how long his hair was when he was thirteen.
