While I actually do really like Maladjusted, Southpaw just rubbed me the wrong way. I did love the Operation - drum solo as intro was pretty cool. But Teachers was over-the-top - 11 minutes of that goddamned loop? Boy Racer is a throwaway. Do your Best and Don't Worry? I wouldn't if it weren't so half-assed.

Dagaham (sp?) Dave was okay, but as a first single it lags pretty far behind a first release off of any of his othger records (okay, Our Frank was probably worse, but lyrically much more interesting).

I guess Vauxhall was a hard act to follow, but Southpaw Grammar really felt thrown together to me. I can't be alone - it's one of his poorest commercial efforts, if I'm not mistaken.
