Sunday's DC show

Date: Monday, Feb. 28 2000, at 6:11 p.m.Well, this was a pretty awesome show, though seeing the Moz in Key West 3 years ago at a 300-seat theater was the BOMB. The 9:30 Club show was great, though. I am happy that I got to hear "Shoplifters" in its entirety this time before 15 people stormed the stage (like in Key West). There was a guy who climbed over the railing of the balcony, jumped ONTO the PA speakers, and then leaped over a roadie to get to Morrissey. It was awesome. I couldn't believe what was happening. I'm glad the audience was into the show, sometimes DC is a little passive. There were a couple slow moments, but my favorites must have been "Meat is Murder", "Last Night...", "November", and probably "Half a Person". What a great, great night.
