They warned me He wouldn't make it, I've been waiting since First Light	But look who came waltzing down the sidewalk	I'm sure I read it in the morning paper, or was it to be another cruel caper?

Would this be tonight's Barrier Buddy?	Even the locals were thinking twice about it.... the pushing, the shoving, it could get bloody	Oh I know it's gonna happen, I heard it at the parlor, but it's very hot out, innit?

Well I don't buy it, not even for a minute	It's only a sighting, this heat it plays tricks. After 25 years, this scene it can't be what it seems to depict	The locals were up in arms, they stood and debated
