This isn't my auction, but I came across this while snooping around eBay. Certainly this person is dreaming with a listing price of $2K, but this is a unique item. I've never seen one before in all my years. How many do you guys figure were produced?

Description:

Acquired from a former record exec, I present to you a ridiculously rare UK Sire Test Cassette for Morrissey’s first solo album “Viva Hate” in which the “Final Mixes” were previewed & then either accepted or rejected.Includes: “I Know Very Well etc” & “Hairdresser On Fire” that seem to be the B-Side of the “Suedehead” single. Morrissey/Smiths aficionados correct me if I’m wrong.

When will ever see this again? I don't even know if any more exist...

Re: Milo Ventimiglia To Star & Produce Adaptation Of ‘How Soon Is Never?’ - deadline.

I remember this being a pretty decent read. This is the one where the main character interviews each of the Smiths (except Morrissey, of course) and gets them each to agree to reunite, yeah? Wonder who'll be playing each of the Smiths.

UPDATE Jan. 3:

Uncleskinny has posted scans in the comments section.

Just got the new UNCUT magazine (Feb 2013 - Gram Parsons on cover).

Great article on Mick Ronson including a two-thirds of a page interview with Moz. Very good interview with some great quotes that I've not seen before.

Also, in the main article itself, Mick's widow says that Morrissey paid him v well for producing Your Arsenal which was good coz it meant that he could continue with his cancer treatment...

Also has a big review of the new deluxe reissue of The Heartbreakers' LAMF.

One day I will put together a list of the many many cribs Morrissey has used from her work most notably around 1985 and 1986 when her seminal As Seen On TV was broadcast. She influenced the "not natüral normal or kind" and "'ten ton truck'" and "'I never even knew what drugs were"' as well as many more. Little snippets that added to the depth and flavour of his work.
