I shed at tear at last night I dreamt. Great venue, orchestra sounded amazing, much preferred it to the James orchestral stuff. I just always find the same thing at gigs in Manchester, people having full on conversations like they are ithe pub…really annoying. Doesn’t seem to be as bad anywhere...
I’m going tonight, I’ll be honest I didn’t realise the capacity was so big. I’ve been there too, to that balloon thing. I just don’t think I was expecting 5000 people standing! I’m not great with massive standing crowds! 😱
I’d go see them the U.K. Tomorrow is one of my most fave songs! I’d go just for that. I’ll likely never get to see Moz play it…Same old tired list of Smith’s songs and a few off whatever album he’s trying to plug. He has an amazing back catalogue of music, but plays all the same stuff.
Enjoyable interview, Morrissey funny and fairly chatty. Absolutely hate sure enough though…pile of crap. I do like Veronica, but they could easily sub Miley for someone else. He just wants it to be her to attract a new audience.
We all knew what songs we were going to get, but the order they were played in worked really well. The first five songs being the best openers for me for a long time. I’ve never been to an outdoor Moz gig before, had tickets for castlefield, which he cancelled. It truly was brilliant!
