Morrissey A-Z: "I've Changed My Plea To Guilty"

I suspect it may have been recorded after Kill Uncle's release? Could be wrong. I think Moz often played catch-up with respect to recording songs for b-sides, scheduling specific sessions in order to do so.

Morrissey A-Z: "It Happens Every Time"

Pretty good. Wish it was on Spotify.

Morrissey A-Z: "In the Future When All's Well"

I love most things Moz, but this is one of the few songs that do nothing for me. Sounds a bit Alan Partridge-esque in its vocal delivery? This'be perhaps be a good one for a hypothetical Partridge Moz medley (like Coogan's ABBA/Kate Bush ones) along with Kiss Me a Lot (which I actually do...

    Your favourite Moz YouTube videos?

I was searching around last night for a particular Maladjusted Tour video to play on the TV here (from California I think?) wherein Moz takes the stage and they go wild, but couldn't find it. There's a great The Teachers are Afraid of the Pupils, and the backdrop is the two guys in the swimming...

Morrissey A-Z: "Home Is a Question Mark"

He absolutely nailed this one at Glasgow 2018.

    On this day

Yes, one year on and the I am not a Dog on a Chain album still sounds pretty damn fine to me.

Morrissey A-Z: "Don't Interrupt the Sorrow"

This is my favourite one from California Son, without a doubt. Absolutely brilliant.

    Strange/unexpected Moz references?

Thanks, FwD. Apologies for missing your earlier post. Fantastic documentary series, by the way, if you haven't yet watched it.

    Strange/unexpected Moz references?

The new Adam Curtis six-parter on iplayer (Can't get you out of my Head) uses a strange yet beautiful cover of There is a Light that Never Goes Out in, I think, the fourth episode, to archive footage of China/Chinese women dancing. It seems to be called "The Light 3000" by Shneider or something...

    Alain Whyte's favourite Morrissey song

I seem to remember Alain saying that his own favourite co-write with Moz was "The Edges are no Longer Parallel". But that was a long time ago; maybe the late 90s.

Morrissey A-Z: ‘Action Is My Middle Name’

I love the version on the CD single of the Last of the Famous International Playboys single reissue (with Moz and Rick Astley on the cover). I wish it was on Spotify. But it isn't (at least, not on Spotify UK).

Probably my favorite Moz concert moment - Forest Hills 2019

Still love this moment. Moz, the audience, and the band just *know* they've nailed it as the final moments of the song draw to a close. Watching it now. Bonus: Never Again will I be a Twin follows. Thanks again, Doc. P.S. What did you think of Letter to You? Janey Needs a Shooter officially...

Morrissey deluxe edition box sets - the lack thereof

I'd imagine "the vault" is very poorly-managed, if at all. Just a guess. I'd love to be proven wrong, though.

I will watch this now. Thank you.

Official YouTube Live At The Shoreline Amphitheatre 1991 - premiered May 22, 2020

I watched this on DVD when the Your Arsenal reissue came out, and remember being less than impressed. I think this disappointment was largely influenced by the fact that the DVD itself wasn't from the Your Arsenal tour; surely they have something in the vault from the '92 shows? Perhaps this...

Official YouTube "Live In Dallas" Starplex Amphitheatre 1991 premieres 05/15/2020; two more forthcoming according to Rhino

Thanks, FWD. I'll endeavour to check out the new youtube version later tonight, if I remember.

Is it likely that the original film used for Dallas could ever result in a blu ray (1080p) remaster? I'm not so hot on the technical possibilities. I suppose it depends on the original method that was used in filming the Dallas '91 show?

I'd be interested in reading that, FWD. Just to clarify: my above post pertained to a wish for a video document of the Your Arsenal tour from '92 (my first time seeing Moz).
