Morrissey interview + Polaroid photo in German Spiegel magazine

Oh yeah, that Polaroid is quite dreadful and Moz looks like he needs the use of a toilet.

Morrissey interview + Polaroid photo in German Spiegel magazine

Maybe something was lost in the English to German back to English translation. Nothing really new here, Moz has grown particularly inarticulate in his old age. Every interview dwells too much on politics and the evil media. What evah happened to soliloquies into loneliness, isolation and...

Morrissey on "Later... with Jools Holland" (London, Oct. 3, 2017) - reminder / reports

My problem with the new song is the lack of wit and strong melody. You can hum First of the Gang, the More you Ignore me or even You have killed me. This one I can't. You do get the hint of melody but it truncates before it gets going. There's an unwanted rush to the limp chorus that annoys...

Morrissey on BBC 6 Music Live 2017 (Oct. 2, 2017, Maida Vale, London) - reminder / reports

Love the inclusion and performance of Jack the Ripper but it makes me sad as to how low he's fallen with his new songs.

Morrissey on BBC 6 Music Live 2017 (Oct. 2, 2017, Maida Vale, London) - reminder / reports

Of the new tunes, only Home stands out. That sounds like a great classic Moz tune. All the other songs, at first listen, are not up to standard I'm afraid. Maybe they'll sound better on disc but maybe not.

"Spent The Day In Bed" - new single debuts on BBC Radio 2 / The Chris Evans Show (Sep. 19)

It's pretty poor IMHO. No melody, crass lyrics and nothing compelling. There are a few witty lines but there again there's loads of cringe worthy ones too. If I didn't know better, this song sounds like something on the dreadful Kill Uncle album. Much too lightweight to really get behind...

"Spent The Day In Bed" first single - will be premiered on BBC 6 Music Shaun Keaveny, Sep. 19

I'll reserve judgment until I hear it but my expectations of anything great from Moz have diminished over the sad, long years.

But why is that? Interviews used to be almost as important as the music.

    New official website - morrisseyofficial.com

Countdown until Moz disavows it. And yes, TTY is no longer the official website. There was apparently a falling out with Julia.

"Low In High School" album cover posted by Linder on Instagram

On the 2nd glance, the "kid" looks bored off his "tits". No real conviction in those eyes. On the other hand, this kid could take out the Queen and then some

"Low In High School" album cover posted by Linder on Instagram

I find it offensive in it's lack of art. It's not clever nor is it very witty. The song the Queen is Dead was the ultimate artistic expression against the monarchy and remains so. Compare that cover to this one and you have a barometer as to how pear-shaped it has gone for Moz's career.

Jacqueline Morrissey statement re: England Is Mine (via SER) - "OFFENSIVE misrepresentation"

So why doesn't Moz weigh in? Leave it to the older sister to fight his battle? Seems to come from nowhere but to each their own.

20 Years Ago: Morrissey loses a court battle, then loses his way on ‘Maladjusted’ by Nick DeRiso

Maladjusted is my most listened to Solo album. The brilliant melodies and harmonies get me every time. It's a very personal and emotional album. With the deluxe album, it gets even better with fantastic b-sides

SER denies driving car, names officer in FB comments; Morrissey quoted in Metro.co.uk article

So, a photographer by "trade" posts a pic/still to his Instagram/Facebook page but says he wasn't there so he couldn't have taken it? Makes perfect sense to me.

Morrissey statement on HMV "Limited To One Copy Per Customer" stickers - Morrissey Official FB

The only thing Moz's statement does is encourage scalpers and schemers to get extra stock to sell on Ebay. Interesting that he now speaks as the "Smiths" as a few years ago, he wanted nothing to do with them.

That's an AS Monaco FC trainer, not Roma. Hence the Monte Carlo reference.

'Theresa may kill' - Morrissey Official Facebook statement (June 1, 2017)

I doubt the alt-right fan boys and Breitbart will get behind this statement. Why? Anyway, this is what the fox says.
