That is really interesting information. And a bit sad at the same time. Given that there are som many "proper" unreleased versions and songs out there it seems quite a waste to create "new" extra tracks for the re-issues. And then to bin them at that.... well....
Thank you so much for sharing. This reminds me of how good this place used to be, back in the day. You know... when we all used to get along somewhat and the loonies stayed outside the doors.
Not to pee on anyone's parade here. But. How on earth is anything of this new? All of these songs/versions/mixes have been floating around on the internet for ages. And most of them have nothing at all to do with the Vauxhall-sessions. At all. Check Mozipedia and Passions Just Like mIne for...
Could some kind soul upload or point me towards the first, alternate version of "Why don't you find out for yourself"?. The full band version, wich is a bit harder and rockier than the one that eventually ended up on "Vauxhall".
Thank you ever so much in advance.
This is actually a song by swedish band Boys. It's off their 2003 demo, and the song is called "Quo estai amore". They're from Gotenburg and has released, to my knowledge, at least one EP and one album.
Strange. I just deleted the whole Zenith-thing since I found that it sounded like tinny, bassless junk?
The Manchester one is quite good, as is the Albert Hall one. But overall the quality of the 2009 tour bootlegs are astonishingly poor.
Thank you for posting this. A legendary show in the respect that "You just haven't earned it yet, baby" was played for the first time ever. (It was soundchecked in Gothenburg a few days prior).
I'd vote for the version recorded by swedish radio P3 from the Roskilde Festival in 2004. Very emotional. And also the version recorded for radio at the House of Blues in Chicago on july 17th 2004 is very beautiful too.
Claudia. Thank you ever so much. The first thing I did this morning was to start up my computer, hoping someone had uploaded the show. And you had. Thank you again. Really made my day!

Sharing and dowloading bootlegs is one thing. We all do that. But coming on here, requesting official releases is just low. BUY the music, it's available everywhere. Morrissey is worth it, don't you think?
It's such a shame that the version of "Paris" with the best sound quality (the very one you are linking to) just also happens to be the version where the clarinet and trumpet clash horribly in a exploding, out-of-tune cacaphony...
