Yeah, sometimes I watch them with this face :eek: but I think the humor is very intelligent, something can be learned from when he pokes fun at closed-mindedness. But you're right, it has a dangerous vibe to it, it's like entertaining chat.

I was convinced I would be a poet; I filled notebooks with silly scribbles. I found some of those notebooks a couple of weeks ago when I was helping dad clean out the old house, and I couldn't stop laughing at my terrible verses. Poor misguided eight-year-old soul. :crazy:

I put together a scrapbook for my former neighbor's 85th birthday. I'm currently planning to make some bracelets out of guitar picks.

I saw a fantastic ballet production of Cinderella. Also, David Tennant's Hamlet was very good. I actually don't go to concerts often because I live in the middle of nowhere and have to travel at least a few hours drive even to see Morrissey.

7. Where do you wish to go for your dream vacation?
Dream vacation can be completely impractical, right? I'd love to travel all over the world, a week or so in each town. Realistically, I want to go back to Ireland.

Finding nifty stuff at the thrift store that doesn't have a uniform theme at all.

Since I technically had cupcakes and chips and salsa for dinner while Halloween Party mingling, I'll tell you what I had for late lunch instead. Thai. Pad See-yu with crispy friend tofu, broccoli, flat noodle and egg, brown rice, two cream cheese wontons and a green salad. :yum:

4. What are you looking forward to?
Someday being touched by another while closing my eyes and just quietly feeling it instead of having to imagine it.

I iced cupcakes to look like brains, cut a life-sized looming figure out of paper for a window display and carved a pumpkin to look like a fire on a hearth for the fireplace yesterday.

I thought Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers was an outstanding show at the Midstate Fair a number of years ago. Everyone sang along, it was rather cool.

Spain, India, England...anywhere really. But the thing that would make it dreamy is doing it leisurely.

I've never really had a home to decorate and develop a style so kinda hard to answer. I like modern mixed with Anthropologie, though. Controlled chaos.

Melanie. She's a folk artist known for, you know, being at Woodstock and stuff, but she still records and I love her. I'm also a huge X fan (I love Exene -she's one of my idols) and I've always liked everything by the B-52's.

Chili and a baked potato.

4. What are you looking forward to?
I look forward to getting awkward, uncomfortable things over with! This getting-a-new-car thing is almost over and then I can move on to looking for a house. UGH. I really really am looking forward to my friends seeing the remaining Morrissey shows though - it's the best thing next to being there myself. Oh, and my birthday and Thanksgiving. I guess I have more to look forward to than I thought!

A display case at work where I'd make 3 photocopies of each picture and then cut out parts and stack them, so they looked kind of 3-D. I scrapbook, but haven't done it in a while.

The BEST was probably either X or The Hives, but the show I had the most FUN at and was totally blown away by --- all the UK people are going to laugh at me, but I don't care --- THE DARKNESS! I can't help it, they were AWESOME!!! :D

7. Where do you wish to go for your dream vacation?
I've always wanted to see the red crab migration on Christmas Island near New Zealand. I also want to go to L.A. sometime and just spend like a week being in the audience at talk shows!

If I didn't live in a shoebox I would decorate my main rooms in the style of the Vienna Seccession. I sort of am collecting things as I go in preparation for the day...I'm also going to have an '80's guest room.

Sheila Take a Bow, and ....it changes, it used to be I Have Forgiven Jesus, but now it's either Something is Squeezing My Skull or I'm Okay By Myself. Sorry to be wishy-washy!

The Captain and Tennille Variety Hour when I was a kid. As an adult, I was one of those X-Files obsessives. ANd Pee-wee's Playhouse when I was in college.

Oh, I didn't even think of stuff like that! I've seen Leontyne Price in recital twice ---- INCREDIBLE. And one of the cultural highlights of my life was seeing my favorite opera singer, bass Samuel Ramey, in Mestopheles at the Chicago Lyric Opera. I've seen Pavoratti and Domingo each at the Met, but for me, Ramey rules.

A designer. I designed and built things with legos as a child, customized all of my furniture, and created my own "style" at a very early age. I didn't know at the time that I would eventually choose architecture as a profession.

David Bowie, Bryan Ferry, Tori Amos...the list is endless....

A loaded baked potato and several glasses of wine. I don't eat candy so the treats my son brought home were safe.

The end of one particular thing and many new beginnings.

A mixed media piece for myself and widgets for my company.

U2/Muse 2009, The Cure 2009, Tori Amos 2009, Rocco DeLuca 2009...the list goes on. I live for live music.
