Due to his political statements, for the first time in 30 odd years, I will not be attending. Castlefield is just a few tram stops away, and I have previously enjoyed gigs in a Berlin and Sweden, but how could I enjoy/applaud him today? Simple fact is, I can’t.

I found the last tour awkward at times. Israel is a song I will never understand, and Who will Protect us from the Police demonstrates that he supports the elitist, right wing, US backed Venezuelan opposition.

I can embrace that we all have a right to differing views, but the For Britain endorsement was a line crossed. He is now part of the problem.

I hate having to write this, and blame nobody but Morrissey.

So an anti-Semite proclaims anonymously that he/she just can't abide that Morrissey doesn't hate Jews in Israel, is against animals being tortured in Halal slaughter, and doesn't abide rape gangs preying on girls.
But apparently the thing that set this anonymous fool over the top is Morrissey doesn't like the socialist regime in Venezuela starving and brutalizing the population to death.

if it remains the only concert in germany, it probably is not that optimistic. but the tempodrom in 2016 had 4000 cap, if i remember correctly, and it was also the only concert in germany.

A too large venue, by far imho. Remembering being @ Zitadelle Spandau in 2011. First & only german concert in 2 years, open air and space for 8.000. In the end: half full/empty. Tempodrom would have been just perfect again. But these are nervous times...
