Cameras at Austin show?

Are they allowed? Called the venue and they said usually not but didn't know. They did say they do a bag check.

Anyone in the know??

They're pretty strict at Bass Hall, so I would say no. Also, Morrissey's management almost always says no cameras at most of the show. The show always ends up being photographed though, so you might could get away with it. I know they were REALLY strict about it at the Bricktown Event Center in OKC a few years ago.

Security ended up being pretty lax. I ended up going back to my car and bringing my camera in. However, when I saw Van Morrison, the security actually TOOK my phone from me at Bass Hall. Wouldn't even let me take it back to the car or anything. Security dude said "I'll take care of it, get it from me later" and luckily he did. Anyway, I'm glad they were relaxed for this show.
