I'm just going to stick up some links regarding travel and transport details for Cork City for those going to the Marquee, partly because I'm trying to be helpful and partly because I'm at work and I'm avoiding doing any actual work.
To get to the Marquee:
Its about 30-40 minute walk from the city centre. There'll probably be buses from the bus station on Parnell Place. The No. 2 bus will bring you up the Blackrock Road, about 5 minutes walk from the venue. Catch it going Southbound to Mahon from Parnell Place not Northbound to Knocknaheeny from Patrick Street.
Map:If you zoom out you'll see the City Centre built on an island between the two river channels.
