..they say 'ee's mental..
Hi folks,

im coming over from the UK for a few German Dates - any idea if there are late/overnight trains/coaches from Dusseldorf to Munich?

If not, anyone travelling between the two cities after the Dusseldorf Phillipshalle gig - will pay petrol/any other costs incurred

Cheers
JIM

They've got an on-line timetable on the German Railway's website, and as far as I can see there is an overnight train between the two cities.

If you're going to go by train, you'll get a cheaper ticket if you order your ticket in advance, rather than buying one on the day.

It takes a while to travel by train from Düsseldorf to Munich (between 5 and 6 hours) so if you dont want to spend so much time in the train it would be a great idea to fly. It only takes an hour and I just checked, its cheaper too. So when you book a one way ticket for the train you have to pay around 80 Euros (around 120 Pounds) and a flight with Air Berlin (http://www.airberlin.com/site/start.php?LANG=eng&MARKT=GB) only is around 31 Euros (around 45 Pounds). Feel free to PM me if you need any help!
