Favorite thing said live

In Germany in 1991, I don't remember which show...

"There are some people who are planning to flick coins into my eyes... and if you're stood next to them.... please, kick their heads in."

This is funny because how could you know someone was planning to do that?

The other thing that was funny about it is that you could hear some guy in the crowd yelling "f***ing assholes!" as if it were true.

"You've been very kind,I can barely see you,I wish I could see you, I wish I could sleep with you...OAH...just kiddin just kiddin"

san carlos de apoquindo,santiago,chile,2004

'The kind people have a wonderful dream: Tony Blair on a guillotine'

Made my year

Sorry if it that has been posted before:

"At last I am born, vegetarians know: I am finally born!"

A true Mozzer isn't it?

Off the Manchester DVD;

when he asks the audience,

M: Did I sing in key?
A: YES
M:No
M Do I ever sing in key
A: yess, and no's
M: Was I ever singing?

I always found that little segmant funny..

Life goes on....just
i can see smiling faces, soon there will be tears
I am human being...maybe*shrug*

"If you agree with vivisection, go and be vivisected upon yourself."

I love him.

when he shoved the mic in front of my mouth at newcastle and then said 'keep taking the pills'!! :D

"Where you in Sweden are depressed and take your own lives, apperently, we in england got people to kill us. Here's the thoughts of Jack the Ripper."

Something like that, don't rememver completly.

And, of course; "Swedehead".

At the Royal court Liverpool "This is an old Gene song" Followed by meat is murder not sure of the year

Brixton 2002, in response to the usual "Mo-rr-i-ss-ey" football chants;

"Yes, it's a lovely name, but look where it's been"

And

"Bring me the head of Elton John....because....the world is full of crashing bores!"

Not all time favourite, but just a recent one:

"I know that you are wet, that your eyes are sore, but do we care? I don't think so! " - V staffordshire

"I can't help it. It's either this, or prison!"

Class.

And from the same gig:

"If you have the time and if you don't mind...a-let me kiss you"

:swoon:

Manchester Apollo this May (I was there!!! Ohhhh ROTT gigs were my first ones, let me have it!! ;) ):

"Tony Blair should be hanged, then tried"

Nothing funny, but on March 15th 1984 at the University of Hull:- "I must say, Hull is a wonderful town". This was greeted by a large roar from the crowd, to which he replied "Ah I knew that would get you". Them were the days.

Maybe not my favorite, but one of the most memorable: "Most people keep their brains between their legs - I do." Radio City Music Hall, 2nd night, 2004.

I've always been extremely fond of...

"In '83 the thing to be is ... handsome..."

and

"Would somebody please ask the journalists to stop throwing things?"

don't know where/when, something like:

"Do... do any of you ever intend to make a record?"
(a bunch of the crowd cheers)
"Do you... do you think that you ever will?"
(jarred silence)

Not so much the word, but the way he says "WOW!" when that audience member in Paris handed him a Distel 45 (I think it was). It's preceded by "Oh, beautiful. Do you need me to pay you?" and followed by "See. Somebody likes me." Cute.
