Greatest Morrissey live show

Mine: Hammersmith Apollo 1991. A wild beautiful night.

June 2, 1991 (Forum in LA) - never saw The Smiths so this was my first Morrissey live experience. This was the show where Bowie came out and dueted Cosmic Dancer. The energy from a youthful Morrissey and the band was absolutely infectious. Several songs from this show and tour would be (apparently) permanently retired so I'm glad to have heard them live.

I've seen him live many times since, but the first time remains my fondest.

Liverpool Echo Arena, 2009. It was a short setlist, but a cracker.

The one I would relive is Sacramento 1991 because I went with my friend Nichole and we had a great time. It was a short show though and over before it was really dark. Phranc opened and people threw coins at her. She thanked them and said she needed it for the laundromat. It was great to see him and hear the band's live versions of his songs. He sounded great and the audience was very excited to see him.
Nichole was hit by a drunk driver about a year after that and died so that show and our trip to see it is one of my best memories of her.
I think that the best show I saw was Hollywood Bowl in 2007. Good memories of that too and he played for a long time. It was really exciting to see him there. I stayed in this hotel nearby close enough to walk to the show. There were lots of people walking up the hill to the entrance so it really felt like an event. I decided that was probably the last time I'd see him because I'd seen him in a small casino showroom that same week that held about 200-300 people and it was a complete experience seeing him in a small room and then a big place with thousands of people.

i said the barras is legendary, which it is.

Was at a couple of these (Blackpool 2004 and Dublin 2014) and at the Manchester birthday ones but Royal Albert Hall Night One 2002 or London Palladium 2018 are probably my favourites.
