Hey,

I just wanted to say Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers in here
today and to everyone's mother if they have one.
I don't know if it's mother's day everywhere else but in Australia it
is. I'm meant to be getting breakfast in bed in half an hour, but as usual
I'm already awake, so I'll go back to bed soon so my son can bring
me breakfast.
I miss my own Mum heaps. She passed over in 1986.
Anyway, have a good day everybody!

I think there is a decency inside me which she put there, (please don't read my posts, lol) and i feel very fortunate to have had such a great, strong female role model to help shape me into the imbecile i have sadly become..

No, i was very lucky and i know that isn't everyone's experience.

In Hungary it's the first Sunday of May. But last week we were abroad, so we are going to celebrate it now. My parents are coming over, we'll have a nice lunch and go for a lovely walk in the Castle District.

I got two homemade cards, which made my morning, and am shortly taking my own mama for afternoon tea at a fancy-schmance place so we can act fancy. I might even wear a hat.

I'm not a mom, and my bio mom doesnt talk to me, but my husband has a coworker who's the same age as my mom who is living here now instead of Ohio where her kids are, so we're spending the first part of the day with her in her apartment. We made her breakfast and baked brownies and pumpkin bread, and brought the dog over because she misses her dog back in Ohio! It has been a very rewarding mother's day. Probably the best one I have ever celebrated.

In UK you celebrate Mothering Sunday in March, but North America, Australia and Japan it's the second Sunday in May.
