Anyone else love this song?
Lyrically pretty straightforward but effective too in my opinion. Also, I love the "It's just because I love you..." bit and the outro, with the piano and Moz repeating "I am, I am..." and moaning.
When you consider the fact that Pregnant For The Last Time, That's How People Grow Up and I Just Want To See The Boy Happy were considered strong enough to be released as singles, it's a shame that IATP wasn't. I think that had it been a ROTT song it would have been the second single after You Have Killed Me.
On a slight side note, has anyone else ever found that when a non-Moz fan hears a Moz song they like, more often than not it's a b-side? IATP is a good example, as is Lost and Jack The Ripper. If only Morrissey would release his b-sides as singles he'd probably attract more fans!
