One of the tracks on Johnny's Fever Dreams Part 2 is on the BBC Radio 6 Music Playlist this week.
Blandest crap in the world. Thank God he doesn't still write for Morrissey.

Agreed, though I enjoyed the article mostly. The shoe line though...ugh.Marr writing articles for a magazine like the spectator is disappointing.
Agreed. I enjoyed the article mostly but - he's got a shoe line now, too? Ugh.
It's a right-wing magazine. Maybe they offered him more money than the New Statesman, who knows. Why is that?
I’m not familiar with that publication.

Good for him, although I'm surprised it's Sensory Street. I thought Tenement Time was much better!
I love a lot of Johnny's solo work, but neither of these two tracks do much for me, which is a shame. Basic chords, repetitive vocal lines - there just isn't a hook anywhere in either of these songs to keep me interested. Maybe he's going for the Oasis route, of trying some simple straightforward songs for drunk people to singalong to, but these bother sound pretty boring to me. Sorry, Johnny.
