Next Tuesday 16th, 7pm, according to a message from my friend Steve, who's just heard Riley announce it on his show.

Johnny picks his favourite Peel Sessions to re-play:

Magazine
Quasi
The Only Ones
P.J Harvey

Also, Johnny's chosen band is 65 Days Of Static.

More details here.

Cheers,

Peter

Marr remastered studio albums?

Johnny has just said on the Marc Riley show that he remastered the full 4 studio albums plus Rank. Of course, The Sound Of The Smiths was a choice pick of them (plus a few others), so reading between the lines, can we expect the full Marr/Arkwright remaster series of The Smiths' albums? Johnny said he had remastered 65 songs.

What time was that?

About 8:40. By the way, BBC4 are showing one of the last I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue(s) right now - Tim Brooke Taylor has just sung Girlfriend In A Coma to the tune of Tiptoe Through The Tulips.

I especially loved the Free Peace song, but no one seems to have it over here (the U.S.)
