Hey does anyone know the deal with Matchmaker, a single, bside, cover, unreleased? reply Please

Is it something you found on Napster? Because a friend presented me with that song some time ago claiming that he got it from Napster and that it was a rare Moz song, but it had nothing to do with Morrissey, it was the Trash Can Sinatras' "Only Tongue Can Tell" (from their LP "Cake"). The chorus goes like that:

"and if the matchmaker calls hand in hand
with a catch of the day i'll rise to the bait
but it'll still be more than a heart can take
more than feeling great
more than a tongue can tell"

Bye, gladioli x

I just wanted to say that I think Cake is a fabulous album. It's a bit of a hit-or-miss of an LP, but the "hits" are so catchy and wonderful. If anyone reading this message doesn't own it, I suggest that you go and buy it immediately. "Only Tongue Can Tell" is a *great* song. But you don't have to bother with their follow up album... I forget what it's called now.

Oh I think that you should most "Definitely Bother"
with both their follow up albums ........"Cake" the
debut album is wonderful! but the second album,
"I've Seen Everything" is even better and the third,
not so easily available "A Happy Pocket" is also very
good.

A Happy Pocket was the LP that I was referring to. I don't think I have I've Seen Everything, but I'll look for it, and I'll give A Happy Pocket another listen. I thought it was boring when I first heard it, but maybe I'll like it better now.

Maybe I should drive

Also "Snow," and all of their B-Sides are wonderful.
