The culture program Kobra next show on SVT2 will be about Morrissey and why "this soft singer is so popular in hard Latino groups". That was all they said but it was combined with lots of clips from lation Moz lookalikes, The Smiths karaokes and the video from "Irish Blood, English Heart".

Kobra's programs tend to be very aesthetic so I think we can expect a very visual documentary. I can't expect anything else then that it will be great:).

The show will be broad casted on SVT2 next Monday 21:30.

I think we can manage that, and language should probably not be a too large problem since many they'll probably interview will be speaking English.
;)

It has already been released on the internet now on SVT's site under the name "Mexicos own Morrisey" (yes, sadly misspelled). The documentary is in Swedish but all the interviews are in English (maybe some in Spanish, haven't watched the whole yet but it's not dubbed).

"Devoted Morrissey fans from the Latino quarters.
Another very intimate but totally unexpected relation is what we find between the British pop-God Morrissey and his fans in east Los Angeles. What is it taht makes him so huge in neighborhoods consisting of second generation immigrants from Mexico and Latin America. We have met the artists Shizu Saldamando, Patricia Godinez and the man who is being called Mexicos answer to Morrissey -José Maldonado.
