Morrissey stopped in to Barnes and Noble at The Grove in LA this afternoon....he was wearing sunglasses and was with one other fellow.
He asked the female attendant behind the help desk if they had any books on 'slang' ....so he's likely in writing mode. :)
The young lady did not recognize him.....but my nephew (who also works there) most certainly did....and he gleefully phoned me (in NY) moments later to brag.

Slang?

I was thinking about this!

We know he can use YouTube, surely he can google.

That's like saying to people who buy records "surely you can YouTube it".
Perhaps he just likes the physical nature of books. They denote the idea of knowledge being tangible.
Or perhaps none of this actually happened.
Who knows?
Or, more to the point, who needs to know?

Moz at Starbucks

He got a soy latte.

Will Benny complain about that?

Re: Moz at Starbucks

The manager said he sent in a bodyguard to look around and he goes there before he goes clubbing. Wtf?!

Re: Moz at Starbucks

A B&N? Not a little mom and pop bookstore?

Weird.

Are there any of those left?

As much as I hate B&N for putting out of business most of the Mom & Pop stores, these days going to B&N at all seems like a desperate act to save the bookstore from being entirely eradicated.

Yup. Three of my faves are in New Hope, Bethlehem and Doylestown. They have such charm.

Moz was seen in Barneys and Damon told the fan Moz is busy and made them go away. He's really being antisocial on this trip, isn't he?

Next he should go to Bar107.
