This sounds like a good set list esp. for those who love the new album. The first venue that Moz decides to play Staircase at I swear he will blow the roof off that sucker.

Yes!!! I'm so surprised it isn't being played yet. I hope it's coming...

I would welcome if Moz started an anti smoking campaign. An issue far more important than making people not eat meat.

The modern meat industry tortures 60 billion animals every year. It's also one of the leading causes of world hunger, global warming and environmental destruction. Smoking is a problem, but objectively, compared to this, it's not a very big one.

This is an epic battle where I live at the moment. The smokers are winning too despite not being a "protected class" like the asthmatics who signed a contract acknowledging they were moving into a non-smoke-free complex. Drama ensues... Lesson? Read the contracts before you sign so you know what you have a right to bitch about.

Yeah, wonder why he's waiting to debut that gem?

It is when you are exposed to smoke every day and cannot even go out cause it is there all the time. I just think he needs to focus on something that saves human lives as well and the tobacco industry is evil on another level compared to meat industry. But you are obviously a smoker and I know from experience one cannot argue with such people.

Maybe the smokers could think for a moment about where they smoke and if it is ok for others. That is the real problem with smokers who think they have a right to do what they want whenever and wherever they want it. My experience is that one in a hundred smokers have a brain that they use to actually realise that they could smoke away from people and choose the right time and place for it. The others just smoke and even in places like garbage disposal units cause they do not realise the dangers of a potential fire. Moz chooses to focus on the fact that humans are less intelligent than animals and I like that because it is true even though we are animals as well.

Not a doctor in the entire world would agree with you one bit and I do think I believe in them more than I believe in what you say. The only good thing is that smokers do die from it and the number of passive smokers that die from it are far less. A small consolation but one as good as any.

Illegal tobacco and child pornography funds terrorism across the globe. You cannot be that badly informed. Should we treat smokers for diseases?
I am not so sure anymore, maybe they should fund it themselves.

His anti meat campaign hasn't been a success cause the meat consumption has increased massively throughout the world and of course most of all in the developed world. Maybe there is time for him to change focus and maybe the cancer made him think about the consequences of smoking and the fact that smoke does nothing good at all whereas meat does give people the protein they need and that is something that is inbuilt in all people since centuries and centuries back. Maybe he has been told by doctors that his cancer came from a weak immune system from not eating meat and that has perhaps made him think again.

I like to think the awareness of tobacco's harm today will be tomorrow's awareness of the global and health harm caused by factory farming.

How could they be so stupid...

The problem is people like you hiding one alarming health threat with another and thus not making anything move forward. It is a really infantile view on something that kills people every day. Meat industry would not stop slaughter even if people did not buy meat, it would be used for something else instead. Hunters are out as we speak in forests across the world keeping the number of animals down so the ones left can actually live and prosper until it is their turn.

I must say that some people look at this from a childs perspective with little or no insight into the biological mechanisms behind meat consumption. I do think a world without meat would throw mankind into all kinds of health issues that maybe would even danger us as a species. Smoke impacts peoples lives on a daily basis and meat does not cause meat does not harm your health unless you eat it raw or in such amounts that would make anything else you can eat a problem.

I posted in the first place here to see how you people would cover it up and transform it into something else and in the modern age no one needs a propaganda minister cause the man in the street and the ones online do that job very well as it is.

World hunger and environmental destruction definitely affect humans.

I haven't smoked a single cigarette in my life. You stated that an anti-smoking campaign would be "far more important than making people not eat meat", which is objectively false. So I reacted. I'm not saying that an anti-smoking campaign wouldn't be important.

Not a doctor in the entire world would agree with you one bit and I do think I believe in them more than I believe in what you say.

I don't know how doctors are relevant here. Yes, smoking is unhealthy and dangerous and virtually all doctors know this. So do I.

Illegal tobacco and child pornography funds terrorism across the globe. You cannot be that badly informed.

What exactly makes you think I'm not aware of these problems?

I do admit that this conversation is pointless and silly. Let's stop, my friend.

Ugh, I tried veggie food for a few weeks and stomach got upset and i got gases and my body smelt bad despite showering as usual. Then I started reading about facts and realised that a veggie lifestyle is impossible without supplements. Your immune system will be so low on a veggie diet a man sneezing in street might kill you.

I want some Filet Mignon now.

yeah i think part of the issue is that in part people choose to smoke while animals are forced to be tortured and killed. i wonder what he thinks of his idols that ate and do still eat meat. i dont know about the supplements. my wife has been veggie since she was twelve, she grew up on a farm and they killed and ate her pet chicken, and shes never used supplements. i feel this is obviously untrue as so many people do it successfully. you will experience a period of transition thats unpleasant but it only lasts for a while.

doc, how'd you do that? I found the images way down in her source code but they wouldn't show here, I wanted to drool over 8 in particular, the closeup.

Cow farts, dumbass.

1. I don't understand what makes you think that he's "thinking again".
2. You don't get a weak immune system from not eating meat. And the average vegetarian gets more protein from their diet than the average omnivore.

The problem is people like you hiding one alarming health threat with another

How? That makes no sense.

Meat industry would not stop slaughter even if people did not buy meat

Oh yes it would. The only reason that the meat industry exists is that people fund it. If people stop funding them, they stop factory farming animals. It's as simple as that.

Hunters are out as we speak in forests across the world keeping the number of animals down so the ones left can actually live and prosper until it is their turn.

That makes no sense, and I don't even know how this is relevant here. Anyway, I can assure you that nature did very well before humans came along and started "keeping numbers down". In the natural world there's always a balance: too many predators -> fewer animals that they eat -> fewer predators -> more animals that they eat, and this mechanism never stops. Humans are the ones creating artificial imbalance by "keeping down" the numbers of animals of certain species.

I must say that some people look at this from a childs perspective with little or no insight into the biological mechanisms behind meat consumption

Your arguments are not based on facts. That's the reason why people are responding to you.

I do think a world without meat would throw mankind into all kinds of health issues that maybe would even danger us as a species.

That's crazy. There are currently about 600 million vegans and vegetarians in the world, and they tend to live longer lives than people on average. On the other hand, the meat industry is something that actually is dangering us as a species.

Smoke impacts peoples lives on a daily basis

So does hunger and environmental destruction.

meat does not harm your health

Well, it actually does. Many health problems in the Western world are linked to excessive consumption of animal products. However, I do think that compared to the ethical, environmental and humanitarian problems that the meat industry causes, the health aspect is secondary.
