You smelled bad because all of the toxins from eating dead rotting flesh was coming out of your system.

What a stack of horseshit. What toxins are they, exactly? Name them, chemical compounds. Go on. And when you've done that, explain how each compound 'comes out of your system'.

Cheap shirts for the Tossers, no special guests, t-shirt merch with cancelled dates on ! Shit flamenco,Dear oh dear is this what it has come to ?
f*** Morrissey !

Hooky

You mean that if the shirt was expensive, the (not very nice anyway) T-shirts had correct dates and there was an opening act, it would be a great gig instead?

And why is everyone assuming the shirt is cheap? In relative or absolute terms?

As mozza says "there is nothing worse than meat it is a disaster for all involved the animals the humans and the planet" and grill smoke is a cancer carcinogen

Illegal tobacco and child pornography funds terrorism across the globe. You cannot be that badly informed.

Catarrh and Nudie Arabia. I must have misheard.

We banned smoking in public buildings in the UK some years ago. It was one of the few decent things the last Labour government did. Next stop a ban in public everywhere I hope.

I'm not sure he could find where most toxins leave the body with both hands and a torch.

If you lot are finished bickering maybe we can get back to talking about the actual gig?
No?
How very silly of me...

We are talking about the gig. It was smokin'

I'm really impressed by the real good shape Moz was yesterday. It's been a wonderful gig and the best i've seen of his. the band has improved during these years and the duo bass-drums is amazing. A setlist filled with song from an average new album has been enjoyable and i can't wait to see him again tonight in Roma and in Florence and...Well, most of all, he seemed in very good mood, joking about the tv appearence and the fact the he saw no poster of the show all around Roma, so how could we all know that he was going to play?I still remember his first solo concert in Roma (Ostia) for "Ringleader of the tormentors" and how during the night he kept complaining about his voice and why could we missed Bob Dylan who was playing there the same night. Yesterday was another world, it's been great, moving, raging dreaming and all of you should find a way to pay a visit to the Artist in this long waited tour. Grazie Mozza!!!Long Live the King!!!

Does anybody know wich movie was projected on the back? The b/w one with the kid. Thanks :)

Il mondo di Jimmy Fontana? :ha-no:

I want to jump in again and say that I was impressed by his vocals, and the sounds of the band, last night. I agree that the sound coming from the speakers were not the best, but the musicianship was outstanding. On a slightly negative note, 'To Give' has got to go. I'm sorry, but that song does not belong in the set list. I was in the beer line when this came on and I could hear people talking about how bad this song was. But other than that, Speedway was phenomenal as was Trouble Loves Me. I have a great video of TQID and KMA; I'll post it once I get home tonight.

despite to "Moz fans" who said he's used to cancel gigs and that it is all a strategy.

I think there have been a few times (1991 for example) where he cancelled due to poor ticket sales.

In general, if he cancels it's because he really can't take the stage.

I've lost track of how many times he's cancelled shows I was going to attend. I've also seen a bunch of shows which probably makes it sting a lot less when he does cancel.

I'm glad you had a great time. That's pretty much the point :)

Yeah.. 'To Give'... very few people like it. It's a cover song.. he's been playing it for years.. it's never been good.. you are 100% correct that it has to go.

Even the most hated Papa Jack (which I don't hate) would be better.

This sounds like a good set list esp. for those who love the new album. The first venue that Moz decides to play Staircase at I swear he will blow the roof off that sucker.

I hope he starts playing Staircase and I would love it if Gustavo got the chance to play the guitar outro live since he played it on the record.

It's such a good song.. I'd love to see some live video of it.

theres probably a reason he hasnt played it. its kinda boring in a lot of ways especially the playing (god that beat is so so boring). it is however one of the most easily understood songs on the album lyrically (its not very demanding of the listener) and tells a little very direct story about kids in school which was like forever ago for most hardcore morrissey fans. a song i like but was bored with almost after one listen as i felt it revealed everything after only one listen. the guitar saves it for me a bit. i kinda put it on the level of earth is which i like somewhat more because the guitar on earth is.. is pretty awesome. to me it sounds like a song made in the studio where were like what do we do now. the sound effects do also really help it, the whistle and the scroll saw for the cast removal. if he did play it he should open the show with it and use the whistle to start the gig. i dont rate anything on world peace below a five but this would get a five or six maybe from me and i really like the new album.
