Anyway,
'Start/Stop/Synchro' is one of my singles of the year.
Anyway she's just released another great single called 'Fallen Over', have a listen if you get chance:

Should be a great album when it finally arrives in 2010.

I loved the Pipettes and I want to love Rosay's solo stuff but it's proving a struggle. I just don't think her voice is quite attractive enough on its own. It's fine harmonising and singing the odd song (e.g. Judy) but there's something about it that I find a little grating.
It's a huge shame the Pipettes didn't get a second album out with the Rose/Gwenno/Becki line up. They were great together and the new songs they previewed live sounded fantastic - there was some seriously talented songwriting ability in their backing band (or even the singers themselves).
Also, Gwenno has one of the loveliest singing voices I've ever heard.
