oh gosh, ket, do i have the nerve?! will they let me into the best hotel in town? will they escort me out if im wearing tennis shoes?! this is the sort of time I wish i had a partner in crime. well, thanks for the tips! I might have to try those if I can get my nerve up. it would be sooooooo worth it!
Pictures, Rifke. We want pictures of ALL of it.

it will be imprinted on my heart and mind, pep! that's all I need!

now should I take him a present of some sort? what should i take? and how would one generally go about getting it to him?
How about a Get Out Of Jail Free card? :D Seriously, I'm of the view that fans shouldn't buy multimillionaire idols expensive presents. It's just all wrong to me. Why not write him something?

I think someone tried to make him look like a Canadian Jesus on that poster but he just looks like Aunt Maple.

He stares like he wants Canadians to make pancakes or something...

Moz on that poster is morphing into David Gedge and will soon release songs like "boing boing" and "plop plop" and "from the west coast to the east coast there is but one concern and I have just discovered girls the age of someones daughter is better than someone the age of my gran".

The floozy files coming soon!

Hm, these all (except Montreal) are seated venues. Not sure what atmosphere he's aiming for. I also hate sitting at concerts.

When the boycott began, I hoped it would be quickly over and I could have the opportunity to see Moz in concert once again. Now that it is over, I wish it would have continued so I did not have to feel the guilt of not wanting to see my favourite artist in concert anymore. The decline has been rapid and Morrissey is now a pathetic shell of himself at this stage. LIHS is perhaps the worst album I've ever heard- not just from Morrissey, but from anyone. It's beyond parody- it's absolutely garish. It pains me to say it, but it seems there's no turning back at this point. The man has been sucked of all his powers and now appears to be hardly more than a angry, confused old man, railing against everything and nothing in particular. There's no redeeming him now. It's best to simply remember him as he was- the greatest singer and lyricist on the planet- and to no longer hope for anything more. He gave much, but he was fully spent long ago. Nothing more to see here.

Just scored 2 tix to the April 26th show in Toronto!!! So stoked! I was super sad that I missed the SD show in Nov. I had lived in San Diego for 24 years and had never missed a Morrissey show. I moved to Toronto in August of last year so I was very excited to hear that MOZ was thinking about playing in Canada again after all these years of protest.

Some truths in your message, but that didn't stop me from picking up a ticket for Montreal - which I can hit via car quite easily. Now to book a hotel with flexible cancellation and hope for the best.

I assume you are referring to other members on this site? I am not them, but perhaps we share a similar opinion on latter day Moz. I used to be a frequent poster on here, but due my ever growing disappointment in Morrissey's music (and the man himself) I haven't posted in a number of years. When I heard the news of the Canadian tour, I thought I'd poke my head back in to see the reaction. I'm still shocked to see anyone that is interested in Morrissey's music nowadays- it's so truly awful. I've no idea how anyone could listen to and love The Smiths or Morrissey's solo output from the prior century and then listen to anything from the last 5 years (at least) and not think it is anything other than complete rubbish. It's worse than boring (which is what typically happens to great artists over time who simply lose their edge), it's offensive, absolutely cringeworthy stuff. I suspect that the crowd must be quite young at this point with a few ardently loyal and/or deluded over 30s thrown in. Sad.

That's great news! Did the 'dreamers' pre sale code work for you?
