Have many surfaced yet?

Passions lists one type (I know it's still early days and more info will be added):
UK: A 2-cd-r set was sent around for promotion, paired with a press release and a colour insert of the album's artwork. The first cd of this promo features as additional tracks "Slum Mums" (edit) and "Human Being" (both download bonuses).​

Which I suspect is this finished listing on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MORRISSEY-SWO...QptZUK_CDsDVDs_CDs_CDs_GL?hash=item1e58e51d24

But there's also another listed at the moment that is still active - this one is a sampler with artwork http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120486289128&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Anyone found any others?

There was one the other day, I offered £50 for it, it was refused, and went for £77. I think this is an example of something rocketing in value very quickly, of which there have not been many examples (like this, anyway) - probably something to do with it being the only CD that has that version of Slum Mums on.

Not sure how genuine the one currently on ebay is...
Why would they put Mexico on the tracklisting when it is not included in the commercial release?
I know the UK promo includes The Slum Mums and Human Being but this is because they are available as official downloads via iTunes.

Dave, the 2-CD set you mention above is not what I have.
 
That sampler does not look legit. No title on the sleeve, no pics of the CD, artwork that doesn't match the release.

So there are at least two - one with art work (like Mikael and Passions ) and one without (the expired ebay listing).

Then there is this funny 'Penis Mightier than the Sword' sampler which may be a bit dodgy - as it includes Mexico - which is the right period, but not included on Swords and has a wrong period photo - but then most of his recent releases have had old photos.

Time will tell ... others may yet materialise

I was one of the two people who purchased the Swords promo without artwork from Ebay. Now that I look at the seller's other auctions, it appears he has many similar promo discs. Based on this person's other auctions and the fact he had two for sale in rapid succession, does anyone else doubt this item's authenticity? I'm starting to.

(I guess I'll have a better sense when I see if there are two hidden tracks on CD1, which I'd expect to be there.)
 
The seller actually had 5 of those that sold pretty quickly,really hope they were the real deal for everyone who bought them,another has just appeared on Ebay with the insert but non personalized with silver pressed discs and it's already up to £60:eek:

whether they're genuine or not, i'm pretty damn sure these 2 different samplers (currently on ebay) will skyrocket to some absurd prices. :crazy:

Will we ever know if these promos are legitimate or not? I suppose Record Companies do not give such information...

I think its legit. Its not the first time hes used oldish photos on his later releases. I can think of a few lately

I haven't bought any versions of Swords yet, but just received my download codes from Ticketmaster.

I'm a bit disappointed with the sound quality of the live part. I mean, the quality is good, but the distortion on the guitar is awful. I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris sounds terrible there.
 
I know its not strictly speaking about the promo, but does anyone know where I can get hold of the 'swords' keyring?? Thanks in advance...
 
What i am surprised about is that there are very few promos around, the same as YOR. They are expensive , of course. While there are tons of promo discs of You are the quarry and ROTT still after a few years around.
