oh my heart is full,

i am a morrisey/smiths loyalist from vancouver canada. and for the life of me can't figure out why vancouver has been left out of the morrissey tour 2000. i protest this on two fronts: a. canada is a member of the commonwealth (dear moz have you forgotten the war of 1812 already, when we kicked america's ass). and b: vancouver kicked the state's ass in attendance figures during the maladjusted tour (over 2000 were at the orpheum in 97' compared to a sparse crowd at the moore theatre, 1,200). we feel neglected and can't figure out why (eat your hearts out you wanna be canadian yanks!!!!!!!

nationalism sucks

I don't care where you're from, nationalism SUCKS the world over. All nations are horrible, including Canada.

Put away your kilt and be a man!

Ohh, Canada *shaking head*

My friend, all I have to say about THAT, is...it's easier to get to a San Francisco gig from Vancouver, than it would be if you were coming from, say, BRAZIL.

You could've made the trip if you really wanted to - he wasn't THAT far away.

Lifeguard...I have nothing but respect for you and for many of the intelligent things that you have said before now.

Maybe this person in Vancouver has the same problem that I do (and many others I'm certain) NO MONEY.
Sure Vancouver is a neighbour to San Fran as compared to say Brazil, but ya can't walk and even a bus is not too cheap.

And Nationalism DOES suck, but not quite as hard as the whole bloody human race.

Sincerely,
A bitter Canadian.

Ever tried crossing the border from Canada into the United States? Everyone is a potential terrorist to American border guards. It's not worth it.

I think it's common knowledge that Americans going into Canada have it tougher than Canadians crossing over to the States - just ask any comedian. At least it appears that way on the eastern part.

Look, all I'm saying is that Morrissey can't (and won't) play everywhere. There are so many places he's NEVER been, and they're so out-of-the-way (relatively speaking, of course),I doubt his fans there will EVER get a chance to see him.

If one REALLY wants to, one can make the (again, relatively) short trip.

That's a downer, James.
