Vicar In A Tutu - Instrumental Demo

A very kind person has sent me this and suggested I should share it with the Solo community.
I am more than happy to oblige, so here it is...

https://www.sendspace.com/file/v5c0p8

Be warned, this sounds very different to the final version included on TQID, so much so that I doubted it was the same song until somebody 'helped me'. ;)

4 minutes and 40 seconds of mad rockabilly/psychobilly brilliance.

Enjoy!

PS: Only Never Had No One Ever (take 1 / instrumental) to surface now. Anyone? :D

And likely other takes of TIALTNGO for the released version is called 'Take 1' and not 'Demo' which implies there should be other takes or...

Yes, but I am only referring to this disc.

There could be several other outtakes/demos of course.
Some Girls (instrumental) and Rubber Ring (demo) have been made available/released and were not included in this disc after all.
I am not aware of anything else, though I'd be more than happy to be educated.

What about the demo of "The Queen Is Dead"?

And yes of course, there should be other demos (of non-album A & B-sides) or rough mixes or works in progress..

I can, you'll have to trust me on that.
Or not, as the case may be.

I gladly trust you. Just that the fact that it is specified 'Instrumental' for the other tracks leaves a question mark regarding the version of TQID unless you are the source or know the source is reliable.

You know people complain about those who give us the chance to get to hear these unreleased tracks/demos/mixes arguing they often withhold tracks. I don't mind, I am more than happy with the few versions of "Never had no one ever" we now have and with the Smiths' catalogue (and Morrissey's, of course)...

Sorry, I think the two versions of Never Had No One Ever that I have listed are the same. I know we are still missing the 'Take One/Instrumental' version. Maybe one day?

I believe your list is spot on, based on what we know today.
Not aware of anything else out there, other than Never Had No One Ever (take 1 / instrumental).
I, like you, would not include Panic, Ask or their respective b-sides as these were recorded at a later point, and not during TQID sessions.

Thanks so much IR for this. Sounds amazing...
