"Notice of cancellation of performance at Yokohama Bay Hall

We have received notice today from Morrissey that he has judged there to be difficulties with fully providing the staging that the artist himself would wish for. We had been in negotiation with Morrissey in order that we might somehow fulfil his wishes regarding changes to equipment such as the usage of videos and instrumentation, but due to Morrissey's strong desire that the concert cannot take place if everything is not exactly in place, we have been forced to cancel this show. We deeply regret the inconvenience caused to all the fans who were looking forward to the concert. We also apologise that this announcement comes at such late notice.

^^^This must be a new one in his list of excuses.^^^

10 out of 10 for creativity.

Surely the tour manager cases the venues prior to lugging equipment to the other side of the world to check they're suitable for Morrissdy's stage show. Which consists of some pictures, a projector, a rudimentary light show and 5 musicians. It's not that extravagant a stage show

Well it's got a big smoke machine now don't forget.

The House of Lords chimes in melodramatically like clockwork.:drama:

Yes. But he does it with incredible style and has the courtesy to address you as mister.
Clockwork in itself does not have a melodramatic quality.
Apparently he doesn't need the melodramatic emojs to get his point across as you do.

If anyone starts to blame Donnie think about the fact that he is also the tour manager of Ryan Adams and they haven't any problems at all.

The cancer is back maybe ! Cheese poisening ! Can't be arsed performing ! 5* fatigue !
Certainly won't be logistics.
Lies ! Lies ! Lies !
But it's all good fun :ahhh:just as I predicted it would be

Benny-the-British-Butcher :greatbritain::knife:

Maybe they didn't have his cheese over there? :)

L O L  !
Just as I called it in an earlier post* (see below) Silly Steven has bitten off more than he can chew.
Diesel ! Call for Dr Jeremy quickly !

Logistics my arse :drama:

*Entirely his own stupid fault, all sympathy goes to the poor audience who got a lower than normal below par performance. Wouldn't be at all surprised if the true to nobody webshite announces that a lawnmower part is suddenly critically ill with with a bruised big toe.
Should have taken more time to acclimatise and get used to the local 5* cheese, dairy and sushi.
Look on the bright side though ! At least the pop up shop can keep popping up ¥ching, ¥ching !
Can Dr Jeremy Fine make him fine again but obviously not in the gossamer way ?
Will he patch his chest up with fake blood patches ?

Watch this space people :tiphat: this could be the funniest routine that Silly Steven the clown has ever performed ! ! !
Oh yes it could !

I wonder if davidt still considers Benny's comments to be valid insights rather than trolling?

Every other website on the internet manages to eliminate trolls without compromising any naive notions of freedom of speech.

For me, hearing "Crashing Bores" without the picture of William and Kate above the stage would be unbearable, so I agree with the cancellation.

In all seriousness, I did notice the last two shows only featured 19 songs. 3-4 less than a normal, non-festival show. Maybe the crazy trip from NYC to Tokyo with only 2 days rest between shows was not such a great idea after all.

Maybe it was about requirements and needs to produce a good concert, and not just about "wishes".

Apologies to the Yokohama fans who could not attend the concert.

At least instrumentation is necessary for a concert I would guess :lbf:

My comments are very valid pal, especially if you look back that I actually predicted this was going to happen. It wasn't rocket science, just look at the distances travelled and how close together the dates are. There's no way sicknote Stevey could complete them given his "health issues". What's really sad though is how the venue is the latest victim to take the blame for him and his travelling circus not being up to it. It's a very poor excuse to all those who purchased tickets now in the knowledge that there is no rescheduled date. It all just smells of a "tough shit" attitude as far as the fans are concerned.
This is classic text book Steven the wizard of moz up to his usual CrankFraud tricks.

So I suggest you stop having a pop at me as a smokescreen to divert attention from the fact that Steven is a CrankFraud and get back on topic STEVE 4KS UP AND LETS HIS FANS DOWN BIGTIME YET AGAIN.:guitar:

Think your spot on Benny. On the rest of the tour, the dates have been well spaced, so he could get some recovery time in. The Japanese schedule was barmy from the off but money talks I guess.

We can tell when its time for your meds as your posts stop making even less sense then they already did. BTW Benny is the emoji king, your just ........ well, not very good at it.

:thumb::handfist: Hope you're well Surface.

I really feel sorry for all these fans and their disappointment.
It comes across as though he/they could perform BUT won't bother because the venue doesn't have a twenty five meter extension lead.
That's not an excuse I'd like to hear if I'd waited so many years. It would just piss me off full stop, especially knowing that the only consolation is my money back and no new date.

Had a great day out in Chester with the family today, enjoy the weekend, that clock changes at the end of the month arrrrghhhh :censored:!
