Morrissey photo posted on Sam Esty Rayner Photography / Facebook

Many here may not be aware of this, but Sam Rayner is married to one of Johnny Cash's granddaughters. Roseanne Cash mentioned it in her memoir.

ALO! (Serbian tabloid) mentions skin cancer rumor

But it IS possible to cut through: filters, settings, user blocks. Evennow and many others have pointed this out evenhandedly numerous times in the thread. You have some ownership of how you view and interact here with those whose opinions differ. Personally, I would agree to disagree at this...

Tsk - you're right, per Goddard. Any road, the other ones Andy played were quite good.

Lest we forget, Andy also contributed great bass parts to some of the early solo songs also (e.g., "Interesting Drug," "Such A Little Thing Makes Such A Big Difference," "November Spawned a Monster," "He Knows I'd Love To See Him"). That Stephen Street has admitted blatantly attempting to...

Stranded on a Desert Island: (Which Morrissey album do you take?)

I'd take the CDR I burnt for the car years ago that includes both Your Arsenal and Vauxhall & I.

Morrissey's Zagreb Rider - Croatia Week and Večernji.hr

To challenge it, one would first need the option of posing the question in a face-to-face setting where interview questions were not pre-screened or vetted on Morrissey's behalf. It would appear that's not how things currently operate.

Sycophants vs. Haters. Is it really that simple? How do you self-identify as a MORRISSEY fan now?

Re: Sycophants vs. Haters. Is it really that simple? How do you self-identify as a MORRISSEY fan no Thanks for your thoughtful posts, Amy. I, too, have been at a crossroads with my interest in the music and, seemingly, ever to a lesser degree the man. But I can't discount the prominence of...

Random Appreciation: "Shame Is The Name"

But recall that Swords is a compilation album. Unless it was a new song recorded especially for the compilation, it would have made little sense to release "Shame Is The Name" as a single. It had already been a B-side to "I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris."

Random Appreciation: "Shame Is The Name"

This song has never done anything for me, positive or negative. It just IS, with little in the way of dynamics. I suspect there were stronger Whyte collaborations left unfinished for Years of Refusal.

Re: Sycophants vs. Haters. Is it really that simple? How do you self-identify as a MORRISSEY fan no If ever there was a misnomer for a profile name. Well-written. You encapsulated my position exactly but more elegantly.

Songs that shouldn't have made it onto a Moz album?

Margaret On The Guillotine Found Found Found Sorrow Will Come In The End How Can Anybody Possibly Know How I Feel I Just Want To See The Boy Happy That's How People Grow Up Kick The Bride Down The Aisle Frankly, I cannot objectively tamper with Arsenal, Vauxhall, or Southpaw.

What soured the relationship with Sanctuary Records after YATQ?

Jed Weitzman. He was Morrissey's manager during the Sanctuary era, from roughly late 2003 until 2006. I believe he was the son or stepson of Henry Winkler (The Fonz on 'Happy Days').

What soured the relationship with Sanctuary Records after YATQ?

The e-mail linked here certainly didn't help: http://www.morrissey-solo.com/comments.pl?sid=23845&op=&threshold=-1&commentsort=0&mode=thread&pid=226425 Personally, I think he overestimated the worth of "The Youngest Was The Most Loved," but there you go.

Re: Reviews in. Haters have hated. You have debated. 2 weeks on what do you think of "World Peace" n I give him credit for turning the distortion down a tad and making some stylistic left turns. But it almost feels like an overcompensation for the sturm and drang of Years of Refusal. To my...

What one song would you like to see live that has hitherto been unplayed, and where in the set list?

Lack of Alain Whyte songs in current setlists

While I grant you that Jesse shows more songwriting range on WPINOYB (FINALLY, after all these years), it is irrefutable that he has done hard by some of Alain's songs/guitar parts in live settings past, e.g., First of the Gang To Die, Reader Meet Author (the "solo," ye gods...and it's not a...
