Rolling Stone 100 best pickers. Maybe they didn't know if it should be Maher or Marr?

I agree. Jack White kicks ass, but #17 is way too high. I'm just relieved that there's no sign of The Strokes' guitarist. Still, how could they do that to Eddie and to Johnny? There is no justice.

Rolling Stone licks ass

Let's be honest about Rolling Stone shall we. After years of being the leader in the music magazine biz this list proves that they do not know what the f*** they are talking about. More than likely they put Jack W. on the list because of one good reason. He is still alive and in time they can always count on him for an exclusive interview. But to not put Johnny Marr on the list is an atrosity.

Anyhow I still do enjoy reading their magazine monthly but until they put Morrissey on the front cover I'll always claim FILTER Magazine as being better than Rolling Stone.

What a load of old nonsense this list is.. No Marr? And this is not just being biased, is a joke. He was a ground breaking genius (is)..

If the list is about passion and attitude, then I could understand White/Ramone etc being there.. but if it's technical stuff.. then it's a different list entirely.

The list is flawed. I'm not saying anymore. apart from.. Hendrix is deserved #1 though!

Well, you can't say I haven't spoken about lists like this one and the 'best' albums one. They're by the dull, for the dull.
