The locals in Edinbirgh are on the warpath with MTV. They are hosting their awards in the City tomorrow nioght and it's a money spinner for the local hoteliers etc.

The Council have decided that to help the "stars" get to and from the venue in Leith they will close the City Centre to traffic for 12 HOURS !!

It will mean huge delays for people getting to and from work and the shops will lose a fortune as no one can get to them as no transport is available.

There is a huge outcry. You know what people are like in Scotland.The more famous you are the more they will completely ignore you

Mind you...if I see Kylie struggling to get to get home after the event she can crash on my couch for a few hours. It's the least I can do.

Interesting list. I didn't realise some of acts would be SCottish.. lloyd cole for example.. and the Waterboys..
