Manchester Book Launch Update

The latest is that Granada TV are filming the launch as they are currently making a documentry on The Smiths titled 'These Things Take Time'.

On the Mike and Andy issue I can only assume they will not be there as I have not heard from them. I haven't intended to wind fans up, thinking they would be there when they are not. Please dont come if you are only going expecting to see Mike or Andy..... I have tried, but to no avail. Apologies.

Ive heard that Mike and Andy are in Ireland with the guy from Hootie and the Blowfish.
I flicked through a copy of your book in the Cornerhouse on Saturday morning. Sadly I couldn't afford a copy as I was given a parking ticket outside the Space bar that morning. It's an ace book!

Our lass works for the BBC in Manchester and has been trying to get them on her show. She said that Andy and Mike are forming a new band with some bloke out of Hootie and the Blowfish. They're all in Ireland at the moment doing something or other, they might be back by now.
