I just got out of my car with my kids and there are two girls with two lads across the road aged about 15. As I go in to the Goat Mansions, one of them shouts across
'Hey, are you on the Morrissey DVD?'
I look around and they are refering to me (and the answer is yes by the way!)

'How did you know?' I ask
'We've watched it loads of times.. we love Morrissey' they reply.
My kids are in this 'bloody hell dad, this is embarressing' state whilst I am so proud that Morrissey has reached and continues to reach out to new and younger fans....
There is a light that never goes out.

My oldest daugher has just turned 10 and she knows most of Morrissey's songs and some of The Smiths. She has 2 T-shirts which she chooses to wear at every opportunity and regularly gets made fun of at school for singing Moz songs whilst doing her work. The only person in her class who has heard of Morrissey is her teacher.
