moz/smiths/new wave fans in NYC

Hey, I am new to this forum and am wondering if there are any moz/smiths and/or new wave fans in the nyc area...I am trying to get a meetup (via meetup.com) together unless I am a day late or a dollar short and there already is one...what's the word...anyone out there?
