it would be truly shocking if he got rid of Alain or Boz. We shall see...... I mean, it is possible they are doing both Moz's album AND something on the side.

I have mixed feelings. Love 'the Lads' but wonder if maybe a new band may spice things up a bit. I guess we shall see what unfolds!

Uh, hello, where have you both been?!? Johnny Marr + The Healers are who Morrissey is recording his new album with. That was only announced here like weeks ago!!

Okay, I'm jyo. can someone tell me why i only found out today, on my way to tower to buy the new annie lennox, that i found out that morrissey has a new cd out? by the way, I wasn't crazy for annie's new one so i bought danzig -- lucifuge. i hope this new one from moz is good, is it?

It's not really a new Morrissey CD. He was invited by DMC records to put together a compilation of recordings by artists that have influenced him, for a new series they've started called "Under The Influence". IMHO it's very interesting - a number of well-known Morrissey influences (Nico, Ludus, New York Dolls, Sparks, Patti Smith etc.) - and a number of less-known artists.
