That Queen's Jubilee crap concert thing

WHAT WAS THAT???????

(I'm saying WAS although it's still on but I can't be bothered to watch the rest and I'm off to bed.....)

In comparison, it made the match England/Sweden from Saturday look like a battle of the titans......

I never thought the day would come that I'd consider Ozzy Osbourne the highlight of a multi-star concert.....but he was. Everyone else was downright pathetic and made a complete fool of themselves. Infact I'm sure the Queen herself aged by 20 years of embarrassment right there and then.

I admit I used to have a soft spot for Queen. (Not THE Queen, the band Queen...) That was until tonight. How many more Freddie Mercury tributes can you do?? Let the man rest in peace for God's sake!

What a bloody laugh.....

......

I would have LOVED to see Morrissey there... Imagine him smashing a bottle on Tom Jones' head, then stabbing Cliff Richard with his own guitar and finally setting fire to S Club 7's clothes. Just before tearing the stage down and beheading the Queen with a rusty spanner.

It's good to have dreams......

Re: The Thames Jubilee Boat trip

I know Billy Connolly had sold out but bloody Lenny Henry & then to top it all Ben Elton, the Young Ones are turning in their graves. I only watched it because the papers said will young was going to sing C'mon baby light my fire to the queen.
Ruff, have you heard of the Sus-Sex Pistols doing a re-run of the Thames boat trip to mark the silver jubilee of said event?

Malmu, you honestly have mistaken The Queen's Jubilee with something worthy of such a name...actually have you ever been to anything called a "jubilee" and it's turned out good?

Fiddledin't think so...so I'ze tell you what, you forgot to imagine Morrissey ramming a black dildo up Ricky Martin's ass making him spit up blood while Moz is singing, "La Vida Loca" and Rammstein making a guest appearance gang raping The Queen and Prince Charles and his stupid kiddles.

Gang rape and Rammstein rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moz would be there if someone had invited. He's opening for an obscure band because they invited him. He's just sweet

Na not me, him!

> I'm looking forward to hearing Brian May play anything!

Funnily enough, I agree with that....his guitar playing was one of the few half-highlights. Crystal clear and right on the spot like back in the good old days. Very nice.

I didn't actually go, I just watched it on tv.... I hope everyone who had to be there had enough alcohol on them to make it halfway bearable.

Re: The Queen's Jubilee Concert

he have no choice you mean

There are some bad people on the Left

You are completely correct. Ben Elton is the biggest turncoat since Judas.
All through the 80's he would bang on about Mrs Thatch, political correctness, and idealistic left-wing policies.

And now what? He writes musicals with Andrew Lloyd Weber, he works with the Sun City boys Queen, and now he's co-hosting a Jubilee concert!!!
Sit down man, you're a f***ing disgrace.
Left-wing? Left-bollock more like.

Oh, and why are so many Morrissey fans watching programmes on the Jubilee?

hun, you need another job, you've got too much time on your hands. :))

Grrreat idea! At least we share the same taste in music, so we could tune up our stereos simultaneosly and entertain the rest of the house..... =)

Re: There are some bad people on the Left

Well said mate, I had immense respect for Ben Elton in the 80s, nowadays forget it. As for the Golden Jubilee I've felt like spewing up from a high building over the lot of them, bloddy hipocrites.
