I've not seen this posted before - but it looks like the Smiths are featured on TOTP2 on BBC2 at 11.15pm on Xmas eve

Get ready for Santa with 45 minutes of pop classics from the BBC archive, including the Bee Gees, Cyndi Lauper, Cliff Richard, John Lennon and the Smiths.

Plus S Club 7, OutKast, Culture Club and the Sugababes, and to take viewers into Christmas Day, a suitable offering from the Priests.

Yo ho ho :)

S Club 7, OutKast, Culture Club and the Sugababes?

I'll be there.

Re: Totp2

thanks good spot

Watched it. The commentator mentioned that Morrissey actually appeared to be on rollerskates. I sat up all night wondering if it was just my imagination. His shoes looked like plain brown loafers so it must just be some little dance thing he can do... I'm not sure whether the image of Morrissey moonwalking all over the place or rollerskating is better...

Which song was it?

Love PTxx.

The caption at the bottom said to expect a Smiths-filled 2009, because The Sound of the Smiths will be followed by "the entire back-catalogue". Where did they get that from?!

the entire back-catalogue and everything morrissey & marr. did you notice he didn't introduce them as The Smiths
but as morrissey
