As far as I can see one person is spreading rumours about Alain and nobody, but nobody, is encouraging it. We don't have the power to delete these posts so I don't see what we can do about apart from ignore the stories or retaliate.

that's not how it would look to someone who only visits the forum every so often

They are very strange there indeed. There seems like there is a lot more 'newer' fans there, which I think is wonderful. But I can only take the-"Does Morrissey wear boxers or briefs?" "If Morrissey were a vegetable, what kind of vegetable would he be?" and "Do you believe in unicorns...?"-threads for so long. But some of the inane threads here are just as tedious; yes. So, erm, two different worlds(within the same) that will never collide I guess. Some people just wake up in the morning and set out to manipulative, and hurtful. And that's OK. If that's what they choose to surround themselves with, then so be it. Misery loves company, and they will constantly have a full house, you know what I mean...?
