"Also, lets not forget that Morrissey live shows have NEVER EVER been quiet affairs. Thats why I love them so much. Even the slow songs are loud and powerful".
Very True! I really like the sound of YOR - and there's plenty of older stuff to dig out if you fancy a more gentle sound!
I Love the album and it grow and grows and grows.....
My only gripe is that it is a very serious and "dark" Morrissey album, which is nothing unsual of course! However, all the themes and lyrics on this record are quite dark, maybe even more so than before. There is nothing wrong with that in...
Paris 7" single was sold out in HMV London Oxford Street. And that is *the* shop in London which should have everything! Asked the bloke who replied he wasn't sure if they'll get any more copies. Plenty of CD-singles left but no vinyl....
RECORD SHOPS ARE DYING
Steve Lillywhite - although I've got no idea whether he is even working these days? He produced some great Simple Minds albums in the 80's. My Favourite was "Sparkle in the Rain" back then - the album just sounded awesome. And of course "Vauxhall"...:thumb:

But the sad thing is, none...

2. Quija Board, Quija Board
I just think they are very weak tunes, no real spark to them...
Roy & Satan never charted but they were really good pop songs.
Somebody's selling YOR on UK eBay already - not the pre-order but the "real" CD. The cover doesn't look right to me though, the font is different....
But having said that, I bought "Tormentors" from a London market stall 2 weeks before it hit the shops and it was 100% genuine & sealed. So...
Sigh. I Love Morrissey for doing things like this. OK, it might be totally tasteless but....at least somebody does it. The "indie scene" is very serious, studied and a bit boring. And with all the "big" stars it's all very calculated and clinical.
But then there's Mozza who gets his band (and...
