It was one of the last U2 records I bought to complete my U2 albums collection, around 2004. Yet 'Boy' is by far one of my favourite records. Maybe it's because I'm only 22 so it appeals to my youthful vigour?

I thought it was 1993 that Morrissey went to the hot press awards?
maybe he went because it wasn't televised and he wasn't nominated, I guess he just thought the 4 Dublin lads deserve the award. It's still a shock seeing him there and strangely he didn't praise them except to say sexy.
Bono's now a giant ego of a man. Larry's still the normal one, why wasn't he there?

It's a good find. If you haven't posted the video I'd not believe. And I think award's organizers had chosen Morrissey to present it just for doing a petty joke. And They got it.

It's a leeeetle bit interesting that as Bono's accepting the award, people are screaming "Morrissey!" I mean it's rude, but interesting.

That is so weird. Remember Moz berating Bono recently when Bono won a lyrics contest in which Moz came in second? Wonder if he remembered this clip at the time he made those comments.
